Surge Cooperative, is a non-profit organisation set up with the primary focus to reanimate Bow Creek with affordable co-operatively run moorings. We are helping to bring historic wharves back into use, nurturing the heritage and biodiversity of the area and building lasting community links on land and water.

We may also collect and process information about your interactions with us, including details about our contacts with you through email, SMS, post, on the phone or in person. This might include the date, time, and method of contact, details about donations you make to us, events or activities that you register for or attend or any request for support.
We may also collect and record other relevant information you share with us about yourself, such as your interests or your affiliations with other charities, your local CPRE network group, community or campaign groups, your council or planning team.

The bases on which we process information about you

Surge Coop issues e-newsletters which keep people informed about our activities and involvement in the wider environmental world. There is an option available to subscribe/unsubscribe to this. Several Surge Coop projects also operate their own mailing lists.

Personal identifiers from your browsing activity
Requests by your web browser to our servers for web pages and other content on our website are recorded.

Fundraising
As a cooperative, we rely on donations and support from others to continue our work. From time to time, we may contact members and supporters with fundraising material and communications. In the unlikely event of a breach in our data security we will contact you within 72 hours to let you know what has happened and what we are doing in response.

This site is set to collect web usage statistics via private Matamo servers and in addition via Apache web server log files, the Apache log files are kept for 28 days and are only automatically analysed for aggregrated site bandwidth usage.

Except as otherwise mentioned in this privacy notice, we keep your personal information only for as long as required by us:
